My name is Ben, and I sometimes still find it hard to believe that I live in Berlin.

Born and raised in Israel, for me Germany was always the “forbidden land”, and Berlin, the “capital of evil”. Maybe it was exactly this atmosphere, which pushed and fed my endless interest in it. I studied and taught European and German History, but mainly through the books and texts. In 2013, I accidentally passed through Berlin on my way somewhere else – and I never left.

Arriving here, I quickly realized that it is the most fascinating, impossible and compelling city in existence. That is why I live here. That is how I became a tour guide. And this is why I love to share my knowledge and passion for Berlin with anyone I meet. In recent years, I have guided thousands of visitors, from all over the world.

As a cultural and Jewish heritage expert, I give my visitors a unique insider’s view into the past, present and future of Jewish life in Germany and in Berlin. As a huge history buff, I always enjoy guiding my visitors through the endless sights, landmarks and monuments of Berlin.

Join me, and let us explore and discover Berlin together!
