My name is Anja and I was born near Magdeburg, former GDR. I have been living in Berlin since 2014. I studied prehistory and anthropology at the University of Hamburg. I have been working as a museum guide since 2005 for various museums on Lake Constance, in North Rhine-Westphalia and in Lower Saxony. In doing so, I mostly dealt with the ancient Romans and Germanic tribes.

In 2014, I made Berlin my adopted home and have been working as a city guide ever since.

I currently work for Original Berlin Walks, the Museum in Berlin-Karlshorst and my own company JaJa Berlin Tours (together with my business partner and BBS member Jasper Wolter). For me, Berlin is one of the most wonderful cities in the world. I love to show my guests the past of this fascinating and breathtaking city. Most often I show visitors the Berlin highlights, Berlin under National Socialism, or Berlin during the Cold War.
