Although I am from The Netherlands, I have made Berlin my home since 2003. As a historian, it was an obvious decision to move here – no other city in Europe has such an interesting and, at the same time, tragic history.
I hold a Master’s degree in Modern European History, with a special focus on Germany. On my tours, however, I don’t just reveal this city’s central role at many of the turning points of European and World History – you will also discover that Berlin has become one of the most lively, creative, liberal and modern cities in all of contemporary Europe.
I am looking forward to showing you all of the unique corners of this amazing city and to being a part of your individual Berlin experience!
