I first came to Germany as a teenager on a high school exchange, without knowing a word of the language. What began as a bold leap turned into a lifelong journey: I adapted, built a life here, and eventually made Berlin my permanent home.
Since 1999, Berlin has been the city that keeps drawing me back — constantly reinventing itself, just as I have. Along the way, I earned a Master’s in Economics from Humboldt University, completed an MBA, and built an international career with both German and American companies. But my true passion has always been guiding. For me, there is nothing more rewarding than bringing this city’s history to life in a way that feels human, memorable, and relevant.
On my tours, we walk through Berlin’s layers of history: Prussia’s rise, the devastation of the Third Reich, the intrigue of the Cold War, and the vibrant, ever-changing city you see today. My approach is conversational rather than scripted — a blend of storytelling, fun facts, and open dialogue. Guests often describe my tours as engaging, animated, and deeply thoughtful. They mention my ability to balance depth with humor, to make complex history clear and human, and to adapt so that everyone — from school-aged kids to seasoned travelers — feels included.
For me, Berlin is a city of resilience and reinvention — and my goal is to help you feel that spirit as much as you learn its history.
