Hi, I'm Benjamin.
I am a Jewish-American tour guide and historical storyteller.
Born in the United States and raised in Israel, I have called Berlin home since 2020. I started my professional journey hosting diplomatic tours and training programs for the Israeli Foreign Ministry and later went on to teach history and philosophy in the field of traditional medicine. I hold a bachelor's degree from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a Master's degree in Community Work from the University of Melbourne. I have been fascinated by the intersection of history, culture, and politics my entire life.
I first came to Berlin in 2007 to visit my artist brother and quickly fell in love with the city. From that moment on, Berlin became my second home, and thirteen years later I finally moved here for real. For me, Berlin is a gold mine of visible, tangible history. Every corner of this city has witnessed major historical events, and there is an endless supply of fascinating stories to tell.
As a guide, I believe in providing professional service, rich and well-articulated storytelling, a depth of historical knowledge, and personal perspectives and anecdotes. I aim to provide tour experiences that are tailored to the needs of my guests, and my goal is always to give you the best tour you’ve ever had.
