Hi, my name is Eran, a passionate lover of Berlin and a permanent resident of the city. I was born in Israel and already lived half of my life elsewhere - seven years in the USA (Boston, Los Angeles, Tucson), one year in India and 19 years in Berlin - where I settled down with my family and my passion for history. Love brought me to Berlin in 2006, love kept me here, and now I am able to show you my favorite city from the eyes of a local with a vast perspective of the world.

Since 2017 I have been working as a tour guide in Berlin and its surroundings, always glad to show the main attractions and hidden gems of this city and tell its story, for better or worse.

Born to a post-WWII refugee and a grandson of Holocaust survivors, I was growing up with knowledge about the dark side of Germany’s history. After settling down in Berlin I discovered the beauty of the city and the changes it has experienced to become the exciting, inclusive and accepting place it is today, and it will be my pleasure to show you all those sides on your visit.
